Refund policy

We want you to be happy with your gear. If something's not right, you've got 30 days from the date you receive your order to send it back to us.

On top of that, UK law gives you 14 days from the day your order arrives to cancel for any reason. Just tell us within those 14 days, then get the item back to us within 14 days of telling us.

Return Conditions

For us to accept a return, the item needs to be:

  • Unworn
  • Unused
  • Unwashed
  • Tags still attached (where applicable)
  • In its original packaging, intact

You'll also need to show us your order confirmation or receipt.

To start a return, email us at info@mcgowanmuaythai.co.uk first — don't send anything back before we've confirmed it. Once approved, post your item to:

Return postage is on you, and we'd always recommend a tracked service so it doesn't go missing on the way back to us. Anything sent without prior approval won't be accepted.

Damaged or Faulty Items

Give your order a check as soon as it lands, and get in touch straight away if anything's damaged, faulty, or just not what you ordered.

To help us sort a refund on a damaged item:

  • If it's obviously damaged when it arrives, sign for the delivery as "damaged" — this helps us claim with the courier.
  • Let us know within 48 hours of delivery. Don't use the item or take off any tags in the meantime so we can properly assess it.
  • Hang on to the original packaging in case we need it back for a courier collection.
  • Email us a photo of the damage along with your order number, to info@mcgowanmuaythai.co.uk.

Get in touch as soon as you can and we'll sort it — a free replacement where we have stock, a refund, or another fair solution. None of this affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act.

Items We Can't Take Back

A few things can't be returned, even unused:

  • Perishables — oils, creams, zinc-oxide tape, and similar
  • Hygiene items — mouth guards, groin guards, hand wraps, ankle supports and similar — once they’ve been unsealed or taken out of their packaging
  • Custom or made-to-order items

Not sure if your item qualifies? Just ask. Gift cards can’t be returned. Sale items are covered the same as everything else.

Changed Your Mind or Ordered the Wrong Thing?

Email us, send the item back, and once we've received and approved it (see the conditions above), we’ll refund the cost of the product. If you cancel within 14 days of delivery, we’ll also refund the standard delivery you paid on it. Return postage is on you.

Need the correct item quickly? Feel free to place a new order straight away rather than waiting for your refund to land, especially if stock is limited.

Refund Timing

Once your return lands with us and gets the all-clear, we'll process your refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take a bit longer to show it on your end.
